Anime and Manga Differences[]

Movie character scan

Ayame's color scheme in the artwork.

While Ayame does not appear in the manga, she was designed along with Girimu by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro himself. In her official manga artwork by Shimabukuro, Ayame has a completely different color scheme, having lighter-colored hair and her outfit is pink instead of violet and her apron is orange instead of pink. Her artwork also shows her as having bigger lips and a slightly longer nose.

Trivia[]

  • Ayame is the japanese name for the Blood Iris flower (Iris Sanguinea). The Blood Iris typically grows in the wild of Japan's drylands.
