The Beer Lobster (ビアロブスター Biarobusutā) is a decapod closely related to both the Spiny Lobster and Japanese Lobster. It is popular snack among alcohol enthusiasts.
Anatomy[]
Beer Lobsters are mostly resemble normal lobsters but with light brown shells covered beige markings on its back. Beer Lobsters have a body length of at least 55 centimeters while their body weight is around 2 kilograms.
Behavior[]
They mainly inhabit warm ocean regions and are mostly harmless creatures with a capture level below 1.
As Food[]
Its salty flavor is what gives this food its name, seeing as how a salty snack always prepares the palate for a cold beer. As such it makes an excellent dish at liquor parties.
History[]
Regal Mammoth Arc[]
The Beer Lobster is one of the many dishes served by Mansam at the dinner he holds after Toriko's victory over Bei in the Gourmet Coliseum.
Anime and Manga Differences[]
- The Beer Lobster was not featured in the anime, as the scene with Mansam partaking of its meat was not included. It did however make a cameo appearance in the end credits of the Toriko Jump Super Anime Tour Special 2009.
