Buchichupon is a ruthless Gourmet Hunter who kidnapped Komatsu to offer him as a sacrifice for any creature in his way through the Cavern Lagoon in search for the Puffer Whale.

Appearance

Buchichupon was a tall and slightly muscular man with hairy arms and scruffy facial hair who wore a black bandana with white stripes that overshadowed most of his eyes. He wore an artichoke-colored full body suit, with a pale beige backpack and brown boots.

Personality

He was a man that would kidnap anyone and offer them as a sacrifice for any creature that got in his path.

History

Puffer Whale Arc

Kidnapping Komatsu

He was first seen as a passenger on the train to Gourmet Fortune. The bandit kidnapped Komatsu to offer him as a sacrifice for any creature in his way through the Cavern Lagoon in search for the Puffer Whale. After encountering the Demon Devil Serpent on his way, he left Komatsu for the snake to distract it while he flees to finds his way through the cave, but he is caught by the Demon Devil Python's stretching arms while fleeing and gets promptly tossed in its mouth and eaten.

Anime and Manga Difference

• In the anime, Buchichupon's death is censored, instead he got blocked off by Scorpion Roaches and he presumably died after off-screen.

Trivia

• He resembles Yosaku
• Despite being introduced as far back as Chapter 8, his name was not revealed until the release of Volume 29.5.
