The Earthquake Resistant Root (耐震の根 Taishin no Ne) is a tangle of roots that can stop earthquakes from breaking up the ground. They travel underground without making a sound until they spring up beneath their target. Where their seed is planted, smaller, thicker roots jut out. In battle, they can be used to fully restrain an opponent. One is carried by Teppei as part of his equipment. He can increase the speed of their growth many folds with his fertilizer. This is first used to bind Zebra and keep his mouth shut so he would not be able to use his sound techniques.
