The Enamel Cabbage (エナメルキャベツ Enamerukyabetsu) is a Special Preparation Ingredient that must be cut into 0.8 millimeter strips, as thin as enamel wire. Otherwise, the cabbage loses its freshness an it will turn sticky somehow (so the cook can't chop quicker) instantly.
History[]
Bubble Fruit Arc[]
At the beginning of Toriko and Komatsu's Food Honor training, Shuu challenges Komatsu to a contest of julienning Enamel Cabbages as quickly as possible. As Komatsu struggled against Shuu, he told Komatsu not to worry because he will be able to do this after he has achieved Food Honor.
