Synopsis

Before completing their mission to capture the Ozone Herb, Toriko and Komatsu encounter an unusual beast that's identical to a GT Robot. What is this new menace, and what does it want?

Summary

Toriko and Komatsu are shocked by the sudden appearance of the GT Robot-like beast. Toriko knew it was not a Robot, but a wild beast; GT Robots reek of titanium alloy and Toriko would've felt the operator's presence. He tells Komatsu not to make a move as he doesn't feel the beast is hostile. To their surprise, it was able to eat the Ozone Herb without help in eating it simultaneously from opposite sides; It was too fast for the Herb to notice it was only one being. Finally, it spit the food and jumped far off. Toriko tells Komatsu that it's probably not a Human World native beast. He deduces it is highly intelligent and physically capable since it was watching them the whole time as it wasn't able to peel the leaves off by itself. "A GT Robot...? No..."

They then go back to Ichiryu and hand him the Ozone Herb. Toriko introduces Komatsu to him as the chef whom he formed a combo with. Ichiryu complimented Komatsu; that he can hear the ingredients' voice because he was able to manipulate Sky Plant's pressure values in the Gourmet Case's preservation program, telling Toriko to treasure that combo. Ichiryu treated them to some Ozone Tea, which led Toriko to figure out Ichiryu had already had an Ozone Herb, and had just sent them for training. For a second, Toriko had thought he's now capable of entering Gourmet World, but Ichiryu told him that it's not just about oxygen levels, and that he'd need to adapt to lots of more places first, handing him a list. He also told him that Coco and Sunny were both doing adaptation training too, mentioning Zebra. "If you all feel like entering Gourmet World too, get stronger and come after me."

Ichiryu has faith that Toriko and Komatsu may be the new age's support, saying they're similar to Acacia and Froese. Toriko then tells him about the wild GT Robot-like beast they've seen, which shocked Ichiryu, who then tells Toriko to train harder; He's shocked the Nitro made it to the Human World. He then flexes his neck muscles, and like the Nitro, manages to eat the Ozone Herb. Using the same way Ichiryu and the Nitro ate the Herb, Setsuno prepares some Instant-Pickled Ozone Herb for Jiro, whom had come for a meal at Setsuno's shop. Jiro was in a serious mood as he felt an impending danger, and so did Ichiryu. "You'd better hurry, before the world goes mad."
