Synopsis

Toriko and Komatsu take a trip on the luxurious Gourmet Carriage, but there's more to this vacation than sight-seeing and fine food. The adventurous duo is headed for the gates of hell!

Summary

At the luxurious Gourmet Carriage, Toriko, Coco, and Sunny were having a meal, and each took his time tasting the Crystal Cola, extracted from the Crystal Tree. Toriko mentions the Mellow Cola and inquires which Coco thinks is best. Sunny pitied Toriko, as Ichiryu’d given him the toughest training; Mellow Cola. Komatsu was happy, being on the carriage with his Kitchen Knife. The Carriage sets off on its 2 year journey around all Gourmet cities, tied through the World Connect tracks, and moving by gigantic Giga Horses. Tina reserved a week, while Zongeh’s team hitched a free ride by winning the Gourmet Town Lottery. Komatsu got word that Sunny is going to Sanzu Road, near Gourmet World, to meet a certain man. Coco, on the other hand, was aiming for Jidal Kingdom, where Gourmet Crime resides. Komatsu didn’t know Toriko had another destination planned before Gourmet Pyramid that he’ll tell Komatsu about eventually.

Zongeh and Tina join the group at sunset’s dinner. Toriko had finished all the food beforehand and had to re-supply with some fresh Marbled Tuna fished in front of them, and a Sizzle Cattle Roast Beef. When night arrived, the group entered the dancing hall, but Zongeh refused to abide by the dress code. Meanwhile, Komatsu took the chance to thank Sunny for helping him and providing him with Jiro’s contact info back when Toriko entered Gourmet World. They all dance together, including Zongeh, who was then chased out by the hall managers. Later, Komatsu showed Coco and Sunny his newly forged Kitchen Knife. Sunny even cried in joy to its beauty. When asked about the Stardust, Toriko and Komatsu kept it a secret. Coco deduced Toriko’s secrecy lately, and asked him his destination before Gourmet Pyramid, as there’s only one place that Toriko could be aiming for; Honey Prison.

The Carriage stopped at the Gate of the Underworld, Honey Prison’s entrance, and Toriko prepared for getting off to meet Zebra, the 4th Gourmet Hunter. Toriko said he needed him for Gourmet Pyramid, even though he’s troublesome. His reason for getting on the carriage was to trail Coco and Sunny and lure them into helping him fetch Zebra. But, they bluntly refused. After getting off, Komatsu was getting worried of Zebra, seeing that Coco too refused. Toriko had a bag in hand, which piqued Komatsu’s interest. Toriko mentioned it had food, for Zebra. Amidst their talk, Zebra sends an Otodama right next to Toriko, showing how much he’s grown, as the Prison Zebra’s in is still kilometers away.
