Synopsis[]

Toriko and Zebra must work together to defeat the mysterious monster that attacked Komatsu. There's just one problem: the two warriors are completely out of energy!

Summary[]

At Honey Prison, Love was worried about the little Nitro Ichiryu sent them, and asked him about it. Ichiryu explained that long ago, Acacia monitored their movements and confirmed they knew about the key to reaching GOD, and also mentioned that their restlessness could relate to something emerging soon. Meanwhile, at the pyramid, Toriko and Zebra were relentlessly fighting the Nitro; Toriko hit him with a 17-Hit Nail Punch and Zebra with a barrage of Voice Missiles, not leaving him a chance to stand up. Yet, before hitting another Voice Missile, the beast hit Zebra with Toriko’s Nail Punch, marking a highly intelligent creature that copies others’ techniques. Since Toriko’s Autophagy was approaching its limit, Toriko proposed they work on their old-days combination technique; Toriko hit a Flying Fork, and Zebra used the beast’s time evading in the air to hit him a Machine Gun Voice. Then, again, as the beast evaded Toriko’s Nail Punch, he entered the Meteor Voice’s range. Still, the beast evaded the attack. Zebra knew what Toriko was planning, and went through with the plan when he remembered Komatsu’s last condition at Sand Garden about cooperating fully with Toriko, and released a Voice Missile at Toriko, pushing him towards the beast with a 17-Hit Speed of Sound Nail Punch. To their surprise, the beast still stood up, but was walking in an unsteady gait, as if dying. Zebra mentioned that because he’s killed a lot of beasts, he could tell this Nitro had only a few days left. Finally, Zebra released his Death Sound on it and killed it as a punishment for getting cocky.

While they were talking about the beast’s ferocity - due to it being deprived for hundreds of years - Komatsu woke up; The Sound Armor saved him from a fatal blow. Toriko and Zebra were at their limit, and the Mellow Cola was gone, but Komatsu reassured them that the mature Cola was still not released. They turned around looking for the Sphinx only to find him crying a river of Cola. After drinking and enjoying it, Zebra decided to add it in his Full Course Menu, and asked Komatsu if he’d form a combo with him instead of Toriko, now.
