The Hot Mushroom (ホットマッシュルーム Hottomasshurūmu) is a mushroom found in the small green area of Ice Hell. It is spicy and can be used to warm a person's body to resist the cold winds of the tundra region to a degree. It also appears to generate its own heat as it wasn't completely frozen by the winds
caused by the temperature disparity every hundred years on Ice Hell which froze the other plants there.

As Toriko, Komatsu, Takimaru, Match, Ram, Shin and Louie traversed through the harsh tundra of Ice Hell, Komatsu began to suffer from the debilitating effects of the cold. The group eventually managed to come across the elusive green area of Ice Hell which had sadly frozen over due to the increased temperature, luckily a single Hot Mushroom remained which they manage to give Komatsu to restore his warmth and stamina.
