A Chicken Tiger (ニワトラ Niwatora) is a large, chimeric, chicken-like beast that is said to resemble a tiger, hence its name.
Anatomy[]

They are large creatures over three times the size of Toriko. They are quadrupedal beasts with the feathery body, wings, and feet of a chicken (including tail feathers like that of a Rooster), but have the posture of a horse or a tiger and a face that appears to be that of a tiger's but with the snout of a pig. They have sharp fangs and claws and appear to have a rather domineering presence. Infant Chicken Tiger chicks are incredibly small and are about as large as a normal baby chick.
Behavior[]
Normally Chicken Tiger are territorial beasts that are known for being very dangerous, thus making them impossible to tame. However one Chicken Tiger by the name of Meeko was successfully tamed and raised by Yocchi, showing that they can be tamed or befriended while still in infancy as long as they are cherished and shown kind feelings, and will grow to trust those that were close to its human parent as well. Chicken Tigers are also very finicky when it comes to the location of where they want to lay their eggs.
Powers and Abilities[]
Adult Chicken Tigers have a capture level over 50, making them formidable opponents. A Chicken Tiger can also live to be over 50 years of age.
As Food[]
The eggs of a Chicken Tiger are extremely expensive ingredients, as they have a candy-like sweet scent and a deliciously rich and chewy flavor. It can be hard boiled and eaten in slices or prepared into a fine omelette.
