The Five-Tailed Giant Eagle (五ツ尾オオワシ Itsutsuo Ōwashi), as its name indicates, is a giant species of avian with five large tails and a ravenous appetite.
Anatomy[]

The eagle in flight.
Five-Tailed Giant Eagles are large beasts that can grow to be around 4.7 meters in height and 13 meters in length, and its weight around adulthood is 1.5 tons. It has a fine coat of turquoise feathers over most of its body, with the exception of its head which has orange plumage with a red crest on the top of its head. The tip of its wings are also uniquely red in color. Its most notable trait and the reason for its name are its five large green reptilian-like tails which sway behind it as it flies through the air. At birth, it has only one tail, but that number increases as it ages however. Poor caloric intake may retard the growth of the tails.
Behavior[]
These ravenous birds are aggressive eaters due to requiring large calorie intakes to ensure the steady growth of their tails, showing that they have a strong desire for full grown tails. These birds are not above stealing the prey of other predators and will gladly swoop down and take what they find even if the predator is stronger than it.
Powers and Abilities[]

This species of eagle uses its sharp beak and claws to snag prey. It is known for its ferocity and would be a fair match against a bear or lion in combat. However with a capture level of 2, this beast can still be caught with a good team of prepared hunters.
As Food[]
The meat of the Five-Tailed Giant Eagle is quite tasty and can be either fried or grilled with soy sauce to make into a fine teriyaki. The meat itself is a good source of calories, especially if the eagle in question has fully grown tails. About 100 grams of its meat can fetch a market price of around 8,000 to 10,000 yen.
