The Food Spirit Doors are four mysterious gateways located in Area 6 of Gourmet World. The gates are in actuality "portals" into what is known as the Back Channel, the World of Souls (魂の世界 Tamashī no Sekai). The only way to enter these gates is for visitors to be among the dead themselves or with the aid of PAIR which can transform individuals into Food Spirits.

The doors appear to be large structures embedded into small mountains which are surrounded by deadly Mother Tornadoes 10,000 kilometers wide and dangerous beasts with Capture Levels over 2000. Each gate is located on the major continents of Area 6, South Six, West Six and East Six, as well as in the civilization of Blue Grill. The doors located on the major continents are all protected by deadly hazards and almost impossible to reach without incredible strength and resilience, however the fourth door located in Blue Grill is the easiest and safest door to access.
The doors themselves posses elaborate designs, however it is unknown who or what designed them.
