Vs. Tommyrod!! is the 226th chapter of the Toriko manga.
Short Summary[]
Tommyrod has finally stop playing around and gets serious against Sunny.
Long Summary[]
Tommyrod, clearly impressed with Sunny's power, decides to take him on himself and quickly cuts down the remaining Giant Parasite. Sunny starts the battle by cutting Tommyrod's arm off with his Satan Hair, a technique learned through the fight with the Four Beast, and leads Tommyrod into the sky in an attempt to ensnare him. It is revealed that Tommyrod has one million compound eyes that allow him to see all individual feelers, which allows him to escape Sunny's trap. Sunny stops his Satan Hair technique to gain better control, but Tommyrod takes out his feelers with a Bomb Egg Shell, Sunny tries countering with Hair Spit, but Tommyrod blocks the technique with Hardened Wings.
Sunny is taken off guard when Tommyrod's arm that was cut off earlier starts to strangle him, it is revealed that Tommyrod's insect ganglia allow the arm to move on its own and it's said to have a capture level of at least 200. Tommyrod gets in close and starts brutaly pulverising Sunny and tries to finish things off by impaling him. Sunny survives and learns to control his Satan Hair and Tommyrod gets frozen. It is revealed that Sunny is controlling the hair that got cut off earlier to paralyze Tommyrod. However Sunny will lose control soon enough and claims that is when they will finish their battle.
