The Gourmet Police is a law-enforcement organization founded during the Gourmet Age whose main duty is to capture criminals that break the Eight Gourmet Laws established by the IGO. Upon arrest, the criminal is sent to one of the Three Great Gourmet Prisons depending on the severity of their crime. For the moment, it is unknown what kind of ranking system or restrictions they abide by.
Powers and Abilities[]
The full abilities of the Gourmet Police officers and its ranks are mostly unknown as only one officer was ever seen and was of the captain-level. Said officer was captain Thor, who prior to joining the force was an experienced Gourmet Hunter and appeared to be a swordsman, although whether all officers are swordsmen or allowed different types of weaponry is unknown.

Puffer Whale Arc[]
Gourmet Police officer, captain Thor was seen outside the Labyrinthine Cave attempting to arrest a Gourmet Corp. GT Robo that had poached countless Puffer Whales and other animals, however his arrest was unsuccessful as the GT Robo was piloted by the powerful Starjun, one of the Bishokukai's elite members, who easily murdered the famous officer who stood no chance against the powerful villain. His murder and the GT Robo's hostile escapades greatly concerned the IGO's Board of Committee, who were greatly worried for this sudden turn of events.
