gourmet tasting card
Gourmet Tasting Cards (グルメテイスティングカード Gurume Teisutingu Kādo) are cards that are used in the game of Food Concentration. Each card has a number on the back. As well as a picture of an ingredient and their point value on the front. In a regular deck there are 56 card with 28 different kinds of ingredients in total. Most are beneficial ingredients and their values are indicated in yellow. However, there are also ingredients that are either dangerous to consume or difficult to prepare within their time limits; these Miss Ingredients (ハズ食材 Hazu Shokuzai) display blue scores. Finally, there are also 4 cards (2 types) of Joker Ingredients (ジョーカー食材 Jōkā Shokuzai). Joker ingredients show both their score and the word "Joker" in red. Both ingredients are incredibly dangerous to either subdue or eat, but successfully consuming a Joker ingredient allows a player to switch one of their ingredients for one of the opponent's ingredients so they can eat it and score the points for it.
The cards are divided into 5 levels (from I to V in roman numerals) ; The level varies based upon the rarity of the ingredient and difficulty of eating the ingredient.
