Great King Octopus Takoyaki are high-class octopus dumplings made from Great King Octopuses and served in restaurants within Gourmet Town. It is a truly exquisite takoyaki snack with an outside texture that is described as nice and crunchy and an inside that is thick and creamy, making it delicious all over.

Century Soup Arc[]
While Toriko and Komatsu were in Gourmet Town to meet up with Setsuno, they briefly stopped at several restaurants to taste some of their cuisine, and eventually came across a stand serving Great King Octopus Takoyaki which they greatly enjoyed.

- Great King Octopus Takoyaki was originally not present in the manga, instead the scene it was in was added to replace the scene in the manga where Toriko attended a smoking lounge which is where he originally saw the many bishokuya in the streets.
