Hades is the owner of a camel renting shop in Sand Garden's Desert City.
Appearance[]
Hades is a short and elderly light-skinned woman with curly black hair and a somewhat dirty face. She wears tattered robes, a cloak and turban.
Personality[]
She is a humble and kindly old woman who does her best to keep on living despite her grave loses. She loved her family very dearly and still mourns their deaths. She views Zebra in the highest regard and sees him as a divine hero who saved her and her homeland of Sand Garden from their suffering. During her youth, she was known for being quite mischievous and prankish, which is in stark contrast to her humble and polite personality as an elderly adult.
Powers and Abilities[]

Hades' rental camel shop.
While she is a simple old woman, she is skilled in taming and raising Water Storage Camels and was capable of keeping them alive and healthy despite the low resources available for her during the war in Sand Garden.
History[]
Past[]
In her youth, Hades was known as "Hatchan" and was a well-known mischief maker. At an unknown point in her life, Hades had a son who in turn had a son of his own. When the war broke out in Sand Garden, Hades' son and grandson were both killed, much to her grief.
Mellow Cola Arc[]
When Toriko, Zebra and Komatsu traveled to Sand Garden in search of the Mellow Cola, they went to a local camel renting shop run by Hades, who told them of the many tragedies that had befallen her homeland until Zebra was released and saved them with his presence alone. When she saw Zebra, she was moved to tears and more so when he had saved a small girl from the Eight-Tail Scorpion that had been plaguing their town and resources. She then graciously gave Zebra, Toriko and Komatsu Water Storage Camels to take them to the Gourmet Pyramid.
After Toriko, Zebra and Komatsu returned from the Gourmet Pyramid, they shared some of the Mellow Cola with Hades and the rest of the townspeople.
AIR Arc[]
A year and a half after the fall of the Meteor Spice, she was one of the many people who went to the World Kitchen to say their goodbyes to the Four Heavenly Kings and Komatsu before they set off to Gourmet World.
Anime and Manga Differences[]

- In the anime, her shack is in noticeably better condition while in the manga it looked rundown and ready to fall apart.
- Her Water Storage Camels survived and returned to her while in the manga they were killed in the desert.
