Heat Bison are large, hotspot-dwelling buffaloes native to hot regions such as Grill Valley. They are a unique heat-resistant variant of the cold-resistant Freezer Bison.
Anatomy[]
Heat Bison are large red-furred buffaloes whose bodies are mostly covered in ash and sulfur due to the hot and active volcanoes of Grill Valley, making them appear as though they are made of magma. Even their horns look like they are made of volcanic rock. Their eyes are pitch black and have bright red pupils which gives them an intimidating appearance.
Behavior[]
These wild buffaloes of Grill Valley (much like the Freezer Bison) travel in herds and use their numbers to orchestrate surprise attacks.
Powers and Abilities[]
These buffaloes have a strong resistance against the heat and are even able to generate even more heat from their bodies to use it defensively to make their fur as hot as flames. They are somewhat strong in battle and attack by ramming their hot heads and horns into their targets, but they mainly rely on their large numbers to subdue enemies.

As Food[]
Heat Bison meat is a valuable source of energy in volcanic wastelands and it has a very spicy taste and smell. Its meat helps to burn excess fat, making it very popular with women eager to lose weight.

Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2[]
This species was encountered by the Four Heavenly Kings and their allies during their trek through the Gattsuki Continent. When they arrived in Grill Valley and ventured deeper into its volcanic domain, they were assaulted by a herd of Heat Bison, luckily they were able to fend them off and even collect their meat.
