The Man-drill is a very manly species of mandrill beast that tends to act like a rebel.
Man-drills are tall apes that are around the same size as humans and their fur has a unique tiger stripe-like pattern. Their facial features are almost feline in appearance, having a cat-like muzzle and nose, and maybe even whiskers which they can style. Members of this species style their hair in the form of a pompadour and are usually seen smoking, one has even been shown to wear sunglasses.
Man-drills are a race of hooligan-like manly apes that always try to look cool with style. They appear to love smoking and can craft their own cigars. They can also make sunglasses to further enhance their "cool" factor. Man-drills primarily communicate by making "Pukaa" sounds. A member of this species was shown to be good friends with an Iai-Aye and also served as a brave ally that was willing to help the Four Heavenly Kings in their training.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Being a primate of the "Monkey Restaurant", this species is skilled in the monkey martial art of Enbu, a special style of combat only known to the primates of Area 7, and one Man-drill's skill in this martial art is so great that it is ranked as a Rank 3-Kyu Enbu practitioner, just below the Dan Ranks. Like many of the primates in Area 7, this species is incredibly tough and can survive deadly attacks and regenerate lost tissue, and when receiving damage their strength can temporarily go up. Having a capture level of 870, the Man-drill is a very powerful creature. During its match with Toriko, it was shown to be a very fast opponent with a mighty monkey punch.
A Man-drill was one of the many monkeys that were allies of the Iai-Aye that had been accompanying the Four Heavenly Kings and was willing to help in their training to master Enbu. The Man-drill was paired off against Toriko and during their fight, the Man-drill showed great speed and punching power.
After PAIR was finally acquired by the Heavenly Kings, many of their monkey allies, including the Man-drill appeared on 100G Mountain to congratulate them. The Kings and the monkeys then descended back down the mountain on Bambina's Flying Nimbutt and headed for the Birth Cry Tree, where they were happily greeted by a gigantic gathering of now happy and free monkeys which included a few Man-drills.
