The Mango Karin is a giant flower with edible petals that have the same flavor and texture as mango pudding but much richer and sweeter.

Appearance[]
The Mango Karin(マンゴーカリン) is a giant flower with a green stem and leaves. The actual actual petals and anther of the flower are thick and golden yellow in color and it's petal and anther also have a very thick, shiny and lustrous texture due to its consistency being like that of a mango pudding. The Mango Karin can grow even bigger than its already incredible size, even being able to grow as big as a Mush Room.
General Info[]
The Mango Karin can only grow during the season of spring or on islands with a spring-like climate, such as the Spring Islands in the world of One Piece. It can also grow within the contained seasonal environments of a Mush Room but may grow into a Winter Room which may stunt its growth. Only the sunlight during spring can allow it to fully blossom or something that shines with a similar light, such as the bright glowing skin of the Spring Shark during its spawning season. During the arrival of spring, this flower is aptly called the Spring Pudding.

As Food and Medicine[]
The Mango Karin possesses use as both a food item and a medicinal ingredient. Its taste is considered greatly sweet and its texture and flavor is like that of mango pudding. This flavor is so strong that it courses through the body, revitalizing and stimulating the central nervous system, showing great physically enhancing properties which can be further improved when made into the Four Seasons Golden Sauce, which is made using cut pieces of Mango Karin petals mixed with Banjyan Tiger chilli paste, Eight Horned Boar's herb, liquor from the Raochu Spring and the Seafood Fruit, and this dish possesses such a potent revitalizing and medicinal effect that it can instantly cure a grave illness like Deepsea Fever. The leaves of the Mango Karin also posses unique strength and size enhancing attributes when used as cups for drinking raochu from the Raochu Spring, which causes it to increase muscle tissue and muscle mass of the drinker incredibly with each drink.
History[]
After Toriko and Luffy went to the Winter Room of the Mush Room, they found a Raochutan drinking from the leaf of a Mango Karin, and discovered that one was in the Winter Room but it had yet to blossom. Toriko and Luffy then fought and defeated the aggressive Raochutan and punched it through the Mush Room's cap. The the sun-like light of the Spring Sharks was then able to shine into the Winter Room through the hole and give light to the Mango Karin, allowing it to bloom and break through the cap of the Mush Room. They were then able to prepare a proper cure for Chopper's ailment using the Mango Karin, the Four Seasons Golden Sauce.
Trivia[]
- The Mango Karin was surprisingly not in the Spring Room, instead being in the Winter Room, however since it can grow to an incredible size it is likely that its roots are in the Spring Room, while its stem grew all the way through the other three rooms and into the Winter Room, where it would eventually grow even bigger than the Mush Room itself.
