The Marshmallow Pumpkin (マシュマロカボチャ Mashumarokabocha) is a variety of sweet miniature pumpkins. The ones found in Vegetable Sky seem to be unique from those on ground level as Komatsu notes he had never seen the varieties found on ground level.
They have soft and fluffy texture and can melt in ones mouth like a marshmallow. It has a very rich and sweet taste that is like honey. Enjoyed raw, Marshmallow Pumpkin beats out even the Pumpkin Candy sold in high-end confectionery shops.
