The Medicine Cattle (しょくぎゅう Ishokugyū) is a species of pig-like cattle native to the Human World that has special medicinal properties in its meat that can cure certain ailments. It is the meat dish in Yuda and Zen's Full Course Menu.

Anatomy[]

It is a large beast towering over the likes of Yuda who stands at 202 centimeters in height. It has six floppy ears, a leathery hide, and a mouth full of sharp teeth, including two tusks. Despite being referred to as a "cattle", it seems to actually be some kind of pig.

Behavior[]

It is a vicious beast although it is unknown if it is naturally hostile or if it only attacks if provoked.

Powers and Abilities[]

It is a relatively weak beast with a simple capture level of four and an adolescent child with enough skill may be able to take it down. A skilled warrior can easily incapacitate it though.

As Food[]

The meat of the Medicine Cattle is a Special Preparation Ingredient that can cure certain fatal diseases if prepared right. However for its curative properties to be at full effect, its meat must be made into a stew, and its meat must be precisely cut without even 1 millimeter of error, otherwise the effects could be fatal.

History[]

Past[]

Long ago, a young Yuda came upon a wounded boy named Zen who was in the middle of fighting this beast, luckily Yuda easily defeated the creature and then took the wounded Zen back to his village where he proceeded to prepare the Medicine Cattle meat and serve it to the gravely ill people of the village, thus curing their illness. However, in his overconfidence, Yuda failed to properly prepare the meat he served to Zen as it required a flawless and precise cut to make it suitable for a child's consumption, having been off by 1 millimeter, thus failing to cure Zen in time which resulted in his premature death. Yuda then swore to never make such a mistake in his cooking again and always make his meals delicious for all.

ANOTHER Arc[]

Yuda briefly remembered his encounter with this beast during his cooking battle with Condor Window and honored its importance in his past with Zen and in his Full Course.
