The Mimic Bagworm (ミミックミノムシ Mimikkuminomushi) is an insect beast found in the Gourmet Pyramid.
Anatomy[]
The Mimic Bagworm is a short insect that can grow to be around 60 centimeters in length, and when fully grown it can weigh up to 32 kilograms. At first glance it resembles a simple, large, reddish-brown bagworm but once prey approaches it bears its sharp fangs and long tongue for all to see.
Behavior[]
They are voracious creatures with incredible patience who prefer to stay perfectly still and await for their prey to come to them, at which point they will bite down without mercy.
As Food[]
Ancient hieroglyphics drawn by the Nitro shows that the only way to make them properly edible is to cut off their tongue while pulling on their tail.
History[]
Mellow Cola Arc[]
While searching for Komatsu in the Gourmet Pyramid, Toriko and Zebra come face to face with a large number of these beasts covering the walls and floors of a hall. Regardless, they are successfully able to slay them all and eat their meat to restore their stamina.
