"Mon-chan" (real name: unknown) is a member of the Underground Cooking World and serves as one of Livebearer's Culinary Executives at the Gourmet Casino.
Appearance[]
Mon-chan is a large and muscular light-skinned man with long brown hair. Like many of the chefs of the Underground Cooking World working at the Gourmet Casino, he wears a red chef's uniform with a white apron, pointed red hat and a sinister-looking white mask with a grin and red eyes which conceals his true face.
Personality[]
Mon-chan is loyal to Livebearer and will take out anyone who threatens his boss and the Underground Cooking World's operation, showing that he can be quite violent and ruthless. The reason he refers to himself as "Mon-chan" is due to the fact that he's deeply ashamed of his actual name, so much so that not even Livebearer knows his true name.
Powers and Abilities[]
Being a member of the Underground Cooking World, Mon-chan is likely a powerful fighter with great knowledge of underworld dealings.
Chef Skills[]
Being Livebearer's Culinary Executive, Mon-chan's knowledge of cooking is likely top notch and he likely also has knowledge about the preparation of narcotic ingredients.
Equipment[]
- Mace: Mon-chan uses a large metal mace with spikes in combat, although it is unknown how skilled he is with it, but he is likely quite proficient in its usage.
History[]
Meteor Garlic Arc[]
When Toriko, Coco, Match and Komatsu arrived at the Gourmet Casino, Mon-chan immediately reported their arrival to Livebearer who was more than eager to "taste" their memories. Later Mon-chan and the rest of his fellow executives "escorted" Toriko, Komatsu and Coco to the area where they would play against Livebearer in a match of Food Concentration.
After Livebearer lost to Coco, he immediately ordered his men, including Mon-chan, to attack them. However Livebearer and his men were defeated by Coco, Toriko, Match and the rest of the Gourmet Yakuza.
Four Beast Arc[]
After Komatsu simplified the preparation of Medicinal Mochi to cure the victims of the Four Beast's Green Rain, many top chefs called all their subordinates to help with preparing the mochi. Livebearer also called in his entire staff of 30,000 chefs from the Underground Cooking World, including Mon-chan.
Trivia[]
- His name was revealed in Volume 29.5.
