Paradise Rice (極楽米 Gokuraku-mai) is a very special and rare kind of rice valued for its blissful flavor.

Paradise Rice steamed to perfection.
For each hectare planted, only one stalk's cluster of rice grains can be harvested. Paradise Rice gets its name from its heavenly flavor. A single grain of Paradise Rice is worth its weight in gold. Paradise Rice is also one of the main ingredients in Setsuno's Garlic Bird Oyakodon.

After Komatsu and Toriko went to the Setsuno Dining Hall for their meal, Setsuno started them off with a bowl of Garlic Bird Oyakodon, and both were amazed by the many rare ingredients used by Setsuno, including the Paradise Rice.
