The Platinum Lemon (白金レモン Shirogane remon) is a species of fruit from the rutaceae citrus family that grows on evergreen trees in tropical forests.
Description[]
It has a strong acidity that exceeds that of normal lemons by many times, making it very sour and normally unsuitable for eating, however it can be used as an excellent garnish for strengthening the taste of other ingredients and it goes great with liquor, such as Cactus Jack Tequila.
It even makes a good soup stock ingredient, with the Platinum Lemon being one of the ingredients in Setsuno's version of the Century Soup.

In Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2 for the PSP, the Platinum Lemon appears as one of the many ingredients that can be harvested across the Gattsuki Continent. It can only be found in the Freezer Ice Field.
Toriko: Ultimate Survival[]
The Platinum Lemon appears again in Toriko: Ultimate Survival for the 3DS, where it is a collectable ingredient once again. It can be found in the Winter Area of Four Seasons Island.
