The Rat Dragon is a beast that resides on Sky Plant. One was seen attacking Toriko and Komatsu as they ascended to the Vegetable Sky.
Anatomy[]
Rat Dragon (manga)
The Rat Dragon is a large quadrupedal beast with the body of a dragon but the head of a mammalian creature resembling a rat or weasel with no ears, six whiskers, a long neck, a black nose, red eyes with slit pupils and only two sharp yellow teeth at the top and bottom of its mouth. Its skin is mostly a shade of red in color but with a light green underbelly and wings. Its body is mostly rotund in shape, a hunched back, rear legs that bend backwards, feet with three toes and yellow claws each, a long mostly unseen tail, and two long arms with hand-like claws with five digits and yellow nails each. It has a pretty big wingspan, and both its wings appear big enough to carry it and are mostly light-green in color except the ridges of its wings which are the same shade of red as the rest of its body.
Behavior[]
The beast appears to be a carnivore that will attack potential prey that comes into its surroundings.
Powers and Abilities[]
The beast appears to be quite large and could likely deal with ordinary humans such as Komatsu with ease if using brute force alone. Toriko was shown capable of restraining it although with difficulty judging from his tense features, but was able to likely defeat it with some ease as neither he or Komatsu showed any signs of being harmed by it. However its full strength remains unknown.
History[]
Ozone Herb Arc[]
During their long journey upward while scaling the treacherous Sky Plant, Toriko and Komatsu resisted harsh winds, dehydration and reduced oxygen levels and eventually ran into the Rat Dragon who tried to attack Komatsu but was grabbed into a choke hold around its neck by Toriko. The turn out of this fight is unknown as well as the fate of the Rat Dragon, but considering that Toriko and Komatsu are seen without no visible wounds after that suggests they defeated or drove it away with relative ease.
