|Japanese Voice||Ootsuka Akio|
|[v · t · e]|
He is a tall muscular man around the same height as Toriko with a large scar across his right eye. He has dark skin and long spiky black hair which he tends to tie most of in a ponytail. He wears a dark orange headband around his head that has light orange-colored diamond designs on it. Around his neck he wears a sort of orange neck warmer which conceals most of his mouth, jaw and neck, and on his wrists he wears orange wristbands.
His attire consists of an orange hakama with a keikogi that has a torn sleeve and only covers the left side of his upper body. The edges of the hakama and keikogi also have the light orange diamond shapes that his bandana has. He also wears a large white apron with the symbol of a crossed out orange circle with flames in it and a kitchen knife, and the bottom edge of the apron also has flame designs. He wields a large kitchen knife the size of a sword as a weapon which he keep sheathed within a large cutting board which he uses like a shield.
Ryoutei is a quiet individual who was originally loyal to the Gourmet Corp. and did his missions with quick and merciless precision. He is fearless and when in battle fights without mercy and will take down all that stands in his way.
His disposition was mostly due to his harsh upbringing after losing his family in a war, but after discovering that Koryou was his lost sister whom he believed to have died as well, he seemed to have had a change of heart which made him side with Toriko and his group and was willing to betray the Gourmet Corp. for her. He and Koryou apparently grew quite close after restoring their sibling bond and even formed a combo, however he is still not very expressive and remains as quiet as always.
Powers and Abilities
Being a former Gourmet Corp. Vice Chef, he is an individual of great power on par with fellow Vice Chefs Grinpatch, Tommyrod and Starjun. As expected of a Vice Chef he is both a gourmet hunter and a chef of great skill. As a hunter, he can take on most beasts from the Human World effortlessly and due to his former ranking he is likely able to enter the Gourmet World.
He is a very skilled swordsman and can wield his large cooking knife like a true sword and with deadly efficiency. He can move his blade with such strength and efficiency that he can send slashes of compressed air towards his opponents.
- Kill Speck (微塵斬り, Mijin Kiri): Ryoutei sends several slashes in a crisscross pattern towards his opponent which can deal heavy damage and cut anything with poor endurance into fine square cuts.
- Kill Dice (さいの目斬り, Sainome Kiri):

After the Four Heavenly Kings successfully acquired the Jewel Meat of a Regal Mammoth in the Table Prairie of the Gattsuki Continent, along with many other delicious ingredients, the Gourmet Corp. quickly became aware of their activities in the Gattsuki Continent, this led to a private conversation between Ryoutei and Starjun about preparing for a confrontation with the Four Heavenly Kings in order to acquire the legendary phantom ingredient of the Gattsuki Continent at the request of Midora, and Ryoutei was chosen to take part in acquiring it in order to prove himself to Midora.
Toriko: Gourmet Monsters
During Toriko and Komatsu's trip to Gourmet Beach, a food stand is seen being run by Koryou and Ryoutei, who have apparently formed a combo together since last time and were showing off their culinary arts to their customers. However due to the large crowd of people in front of their stand they were not seen by Toriko or Komatsu.
- His voice actor also voices Livebearer.
- He was designed by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro for the game.
- Aside from Midora, Ryoutei is the most "normal" looking member of the Gourmet Corp., with no visible mutations, monstrous traits or transformations.
- Artwork of his cutting board shield shows it to be quite thick, while the in-game sprite shows it with a more reasonably flat body.
