A scar on his right eye remains even after being healed by Yosaku at Life.

Personality[]

RamShinLouie2

Louie, Ram and Shin.

Shin is a fearless and loyal individual who is very devoted to Match and his two close comrades Ram and Louie. He is also willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of his boss and allies, showing just how far he willing to go for his friends and comrades and will face off even against enemies of monstrous power knowing that he may very well die. Like the rest of the Gourmet Yakuza, he cares about the poor children of his country and wants to make sure that they are well fed and protected from corruption. His friendship with Ram and Louie is also expanded upon in the anime, showing that the three are nearly inseparable and believe that three heads are better than one.

History[]

Century Soup Arc[]

Shin in first seen in Bar Heavy Lodge, together with Match, Ram and Louie.

He is one of the people who travels to Ice Hell in search of the Century Soup. He got bit by Tommyrod's bug, leaving his arm and eyes disabled, and when they faced off with Gourmet Corp. member Barrygamon, along with Louie and Ram, delayed the boar-like man to a near-fatal result just to allow Match use his skill to it's fullest extent.

Powers and Abilities[]

Shin does not posses any abnormal or strong abilities, but he appears to be quite skilled with an Ice Gun and uses it well. He also has some endurance, being able to take direct hits from Barrygamon (having even his arm bones shattered) yet still remaining conscious and having enough strength to move before being beaten into submission.

Anime and Manga Differences[]

During the battle in Ice Hell, the anime censors a lot of the violence surrounding Shin, Ram and Louie, and when in Life, instead of being healed by Therapy Tulips they are healed by Pelican Flytraps. The anime also does not give Shin the scar he received during the Ice Hell Arc.
