Silver Taraba Crab is a crustacean beast with a silver-shell available for bidding on at the World Kitchen.
Anatomy[]
Silver Taraba Crabs are silver-shelled crabs that vary in size. Normally they are quite small in size but a few rare crabs can grow to giant sizes and weigh around 200 kilos. Their shells shine brightly in the light of day.

Behavior[]
Silver Taraba Crabs make their home deep below the sea and live together in groups.
Powers and Abilities[]
These creatures primarily fight in groups and rely on their sharp claws to fend off predators. Smaller crabs have a capture level of around 26 while larger specimens have a capture level of 31.[1]
As Food[]
The Silver Taraba Crab is a valuable creature especially for its silver shell and rare big ones such as a 200 kilos individual can go for a hefty price of 7,000,000 yen on the gourmet wholesale market. Its meat can be made into Silver Taraba Miso Soup that has health boosting properties.[2]

A Silver Taraba Crab, weighing in at 200 kilos was sold by Batty for 7,000,000 yen to a man from Tsukiji.
Anime and Manga Differences[]
- In the anime, it was replaced with the Pistachiuo.
- Though not featured in the anime, the Silver Taraba Crab made a cameo appearance in the Toriko Jump Special OVA, where it was incorrectly colored red instead of silver.
Appearances in Other Media[]
Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2[]
In Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2 for the PSP, the Silver Taraba Crab species appears in the Gattsuki Continent's Freezer Ice Field which is very similar to Ice Hell and they can be hunted for their meat and experience.

- In Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2, the model used for the Silver Taraba Crab is the same one used for the Ruby Crab and its variants.
