The dub version of Toriko by Funimation has been delayed by two weeks. This is the current release schedule:
- Part 1 (Eps 1-13): January 22, 2013
- Part 2 (Eps 14-26): February 5, 2013
- Part 3 (Eps 27-39): March 19, 2013

I loved Toriko myself so if the anime was considered crap I'd love it even more if it was done right. I don't read manga myself though.

You should. If you loved the idea of the anime and the way the world worked, you should absolutely read the manga. The manga doesn't screw up, keeps the realistic, brutal quality and the Gourmet World saga is absolutely marvelous, the world is explained, the lore is deepened, so many mysteries are solved and even more arise.
