Namco Bandai Games will release Toriko Gourmet Survival 2, the sequel to this year's "gourmet hunting action" PSP game in Japan next summer. Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2 was revealed in V-Jump. The new PSP game will bring together the Four Heavenly Kings Toriko, Coco, Sunny, and Zebra.
Features ad-hoc multiplayer just like the Monster Hunter series. When you have to hunt solo, Toriko can travel with two computer controlled friends like Komatsu and Terry.
Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2 adds more playable characters and beasts to beat up. The Tundra Dragon and Lightning Phoenix are some of the new monsters in the PSP game.
Plot[]
The game starts off with Toriko, Komatsu, Terry Cloth and Yun on board the private train of Fond De Bohno, who has once again sought them out. They then explain they are on their way to the Gattsuki Continent where they'll be procuring ingredients. When the train finally stops they arrive at the grasslands, where they meet up with Sunny, Coco, Kiss, Rin, Mansam, Setsuno and Jiro who have also come on the request of Bohno, Zebra was also invited but did not show up due to his own vices. Along with them is a young chef named Koryou who was also called in by Bohno to help Komatsu and Setsuno with the cooking. For the next few days the Four Heavenly Kings and the group continue to hunt for various ingredients and eventually begin relocating their camp the deeper they go into the wilderness. Eventually after Toriko and Komatsu made a return trip to the train station they meet up with Tina and a lost Zongeh who both join Toriko and the rest for their own reasons. After several more hunts, the group soon finds out that Zebra is on his way and meet up with him at the train station. Will all the Four Heavenly Kings together, they set off to take down the ruler of the grasslands, a Regal Mammoth and collect its Jewel Meat. After a long battle and a small venture into its body, they successfully capture the Jewel Meat and return to camp where everyone enjoys an amazing and hearty meal. They soon pack up camp and head back to the train, which soon takes them to their next destination, the volcano region.
