Urchives (ウニラ Unira) are a species of mysterious urchins native to Blue Grill that are used as protective talismans by its inhabitants.
Anatomy[]
It is a small creature that can easily fit in the palm of one's hand. Its body is covered in numerous bumps and when active it releases noticeable gas fumes.
Behavior[]
They are stationary and non-hostile creatures that can be handled by any living being.
Powers and Abilities[]
Urchives posses the unique power to ward off Food Spirits, due to the foul odor they emit from their body.
Uses[]
Because of their unique ability to ward off Food Spirits, even the weak and unhealthy can wander the streets of Blue Grill after dark without worrying about becoming possessed by evil spirits since a string can easily be tied onto these beasts and can be worn as a necklace. Urchives can also be installed in buildings which makes it impossible for evil spirits to enter them. However Urchives are seemingly powerless within the Back Channel.
